Robinsons Land, Sitel strengthen partnership with built-to-suit project

Property developer Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) has formalized its lease agreement with one of the country’s largest business process management companies in terms of workforce – Sitel Philippines, which currently operates 14 physical sites in the major municipalities and cities located in Metro Manila, Baguio, Palawan and Tarlac.  Due to the strong growth in Central Luzon, Sitel signed a new built-to-suit deal with RLC for its office expansion requirement within the Robinsons Luisita complex in Tarlac City.

Robinsons Luisita Complex, located along the stretch of MacArthur Highway in San Miguel, Tarlac City, is the convergence point of locals and travelers who go to Baguio, La Union, Pangasinan and other cities in the Ilocos Region making it one of the busiest hubs in Luzon.The city where it is located is home to more than 300,000 residents, top-notch academic institutions and is known also for its Agriculture and Electronics industries.

Sitel’s state-of-the-art center in Robinsons Luisita Complex was inaugurated last year and currently has over 1,500 employees – an impressive turn-out which manifeststhe complex’s excellent location and the province’s vast potential. “Based on the rapid growth of our business, we decided to set up a second site also in Robinsons Luisita. We appreciate and recognize the support and cooperation that Robinsons Land has extended to Sitel, in this regard,” says Sitel-APAC Chief Operations Officer, Craig Reines.

Robinsons Land’s expertise on building office spaces that specifically cater to a BPO company’s distinct and specialized requirements and its ability to expand to the provinces quickly by having a ready portfolio of properties in strategic provincial locations, were the important factors Sitel-APAC considered when choosing a developer to do their build-to-suit office.

Sitel’s build-to-suit office in Robinsons Luisita Complex is a 3-story office building connected to the Robinsons Luisita mall. It features a highly efficient floor layout and equipped with Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) AC system, 100% back-up power, Fire Alarm Detection System (FDAS), fire sprinklers and smoke detectors, CCTV surveillance with 24/7 security and with multiple telecommunications providers. The building is also registered with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) as an IT Center. Public transportation and multiple food options are readily available within the Robinsons Luisita Complex.

To date, RLC has office projects in 16 of the country’s key cities and municipalities. It operates office buildings in the central business districts of Makati, Ortigas and Fort Bonifacio. “Our long-standing partnership with our clients such as Sitel inspires us to deliver projects that meet and exceed their expectations.
