Published

Puregold Price Club, one of the country’s leading  retail companies, is cooking up an array of huge  discounts, negosyo packs, business talks, giveaways, fun, games, and entertainment in the 4th KAINdustriya Food Business Convention, happening  this September 19 and 20, at the World Trade Center, Pasay City, Metro Manila.

KAINdustriya is a segment under Puregold’s well-known business membership program, Tindahan ni Aling Puring. With KAINdustriya, the company aims to be the preferred partner of food  entrepreneurs such as carinderia, canteens, restaurants, hotels, catering service, food carts and others.

“Filipinos love to eat and there will always be a  market for food products in our country. With determination, perseverance, passion for food and cooking, business know-how, the right mix of quality products, and consistent partner support, anyone can venture into a profitable food business,” states Puregold’s President Vincent Co.

One of the featured events in this year’s convention is The Search for KAINtrepreneur 2017.

Ten finalists, who are active Aling Puring KAINdustriya members, will compete against each other in a culinary showdown for the highly-coveted title and grand prize of 1 year free groceries from Puregold.

Each contestant is paired with a chef or cooking expert from some of the country’s biggest FMCG food companies, including Nestle Philippines, Unilever Food Solutions, CDO Foodsphere Inc., Nutri-Asia Inc., San Miguel-Magnolia, and Monde Nissin Corporation-Mama Sita’s.

Other featured events are the Sarap Ka-Equal cook-off competition and the KAIN U Inter-school Food Business Competition, which features promising food businesses of college students.
