Wednesday markets: Peso-dollar rate at P50.34; stocks slip

The peso and stock market closed in opposite directions on Wednesday, March 15.



The Philippine peso–US dollar exchange rate at the Philippine Dealing and Exchange Corporation (PDEX) closed at P50.34, slightly stronger than Tuesday’s (March 14) rate at P50.36.

At the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reference exchange rate bulletin, the exchange rate settled at P50.35 to the greenback.

In contrast, the Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) slipped by 7.96 points (0.11%) to settle at 7,253.79.

The all-shares index likewise dropped by 9.51 points (0.22%) at 4,373.82.

          Really huh? I am wondering however why the peso plunge very fast since your idol took the office for only 9 months? I am telling you, I belong to the 16M Filipino fooled by your Idol. Yes campaign for war against drugs makes the situation changed compared than before, but diverting alliance with China is a big mistake which makes Panatag Shoal a fully occupied by them and soon the Benham Rise in exchange of the promise infrastructure projects. Many more to mentions about the mistakes of your Idol. What you only have to do is to drink “Kaping Barako” for you to be awake.
